​Ilocos Norte is a province in the northern part of the Ilocos Region in Luzon Island in the Philippines. It is popular for being the birthplace of former Philippine President Ferdinand E. Marcos. Fort Ilocandia, an upper class hotel and beach resort among expatriates, is one of the tourist destinations in Ilocos Norte. Ilocos Norte is also home to several notable Roman Catholic churches.
